He is Risen! Happy Easter!

Macy's first Easter Basket! I couldn't resist this little bunny. Macy's Auntie Kate gave her a bunny, too, which is adorable, but with her in her crib right now so I can't get a picture!
Macy, all ready to go to Easter Service at church. Out the door at 8 AM, that has to be a record!
Mom and Macy at church.

The Easter Egg Hunt was awesome this year, the pictures kind of speak for themselves...

This is my "Aunt" Joye Crabtree. Her Mom, Leona and my Grammy were the best of friends. When Leona passed away, our family adopted her in. :)
My Mom definitely got better pics than I did of this. I was caught up in the fun and excitement. I might re-post some highlights when I get her pictures. Until then, this will show you the gist.

Eggs and a photo op

Saturday was Dying Easter Egg Day. This is a lost tradition for the VK family and we were all very excited to start it back up again this year since there are quite a few eligible egg hunters, including the triplets! So weird to think Macy will be toddling like them next Easter... This picture is a fake. I didn't even touch the dye this year. We were doing Macy's 3 month photo shoot in the next room about 3 min before this picture. :)
Bryce, Katie and I had a picture of us each holding a triplet last August. I'll have to dig it up for a comparison post sometime. It's an absolute miracle how far these girls have come. Makes me cry!
Bryce holding Abbie, I am holding Ellie, Katie is holding Annie (and Luke!)...
My wonderful cousin Heidi. I've posted about her before, but can't stress what an amazing encourager and friend she is to me. Heidi cares about others more than herself. She is so awesome. I love her!!!!
Annie playing with my hair. She is so gentle and sweet. Still my special triplet. :)

The dyeing crew! My cousin Larry Shea, his daughter Erin Taylor, Bryce and Katie. Luke did a lot of work, too, I think they were gone when I took this!
My political family had to do an Obama and Palin? egg... So funny.

Picture day

More Uncle Bryce bonding happened Saturday since we spent the WHOLE day at Dad and Mom's. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! We had bonding, family pictures, Macy's 3 month pictures, dying Easter Eggs...what a day!
Macy's new trick of sticking her tongue out!
Really loved this outfit, it's from Heather and says "Daddy's Girl." It's 3-6 months and fits perfectly!
Macy, all ready for pictures... this is her Easter dress from my Mom. :) The cutest dress I've ever seen.

Auntie Kate and Macy
Grandpa and Macy :) This is a framer.

Macy "meets" Uncle Bryce!!!!

I have been waiting for this day for 3 months. :) My brother, Bryce flew in for Easter and to officially meet Macy since he saw her for about an hour the day after she was born and had to fly back to LA. She of course LOVED him and showed him all her new tricks. First, though, she had to smile for her Auntie Kate.

I adore my little brother and am so proud of him. He was so sweet with Macy and deemed her the cutest kid in the world. Makes me love him even more that he adores Gabe and my daughter.

More triplet fun

I think this was Thursday morning... Luke, Sharon and Macy. Love this picture!
So while Heidi was snuggling Macy...
The girls found the Tupperware Drawer!!!! This is just a typical day in the life with triplets around. All toddlers I'm sure make messes and get into things. Just times that by 3 and you realize what Heidi has to keep up with!!!
What? Are we doing something wrong?
Back to business...

Ellie Shea Gale

So here is Ellie Shea Gale "helping" Sharon wash dishes. I walked into the kitchen and had to walk back out and grab my camera. She was so seriously "washing" the parts to this bottle. Here's the montage that made me laugh...

That is our little Ellie-Belle. She is hilarious, serious, studious, curious. Such a little lady!!!

Interview with Luke

Yesterday I was chatting with my cousin Luke, and realized how fun and hilarious it is to really TALK to a four year old. I got out my flip cam, after explaining what an interview was, and this is what I got...
