Grandiflora is Grand!

Katie and I went to Grandiflora the other day and I got two new things for my house. Above is a magnetic board and then below is a frame I really liked. Love that store!

The Harps

We went to visit Harper Dae on her 4 month birthday and had to get some updated photos of the girls together. Holly and I were laughing so hard during this "shoot." Macy kept smiling right at the camera, and Harper was more interested in holding on to Macy! She kept grabbing at her and talking to her... Macy was just smiling straight ahead. :)

They were laying on the blanket my Mom made for Holly and Macy felt right at home! It's just like her ladybug and kitty one! What a great morning!

A visiting Monday

Macy's GG stopped by today with Grandpa Boyd for a visit! The timing was perfect. I had woken up with a weird voice/throat/cold thing and Macy and I both took naps together this morning, which was lovely, and I felt back to myself when I woke up. It might have been allergies, who knows?
My Grammy is a baby person. She gets a kick out of Macy, since she smiles easy and Grammy says that's just how I was when I was a baby. :) It makes me so happy that Macy recognizes her Great-Grandparents. (Ok, maybe not totally, but she smiles at them!) I never knew mine, and it's a wonderful thing that she will.
Here is our little angel showing off with her toys for Great-Grandpa and GG.

Grandpa Boyd is NOT a baby person. He usually doesn't hold them, or talk to them much, but for some reason, Macy ADORES him. Ever since she was only a few weeks old, if he says, "Well, hey there baby..." She grins all over herself. It's the sweetest thing. She likes nearly every man, but there's something special about Grandpa Boyd.
Love how she makes the same face he does. If he would have smiled, I bet she would have too. Precious.

Today we visited Nathan Korthuis, a friend who was in a really terrible motorcycle accident a month ago. He had TONS of injuries, and we have been praying for a quick and complete recovery. He is doing remarkably well, and healing a little more every day. Macy and I stopped by to bring some smiles, and it was a party! She gave Nathan a scared face right after I snapped this pic, and Mimi had to calm her down. We'll have to visit more often!
Thank you cousin Heidi for this ExerSaucer! Macy loves it! She is in a phase where she plays for about 15 min with something and then needs to switch it up. Thank goodness everyone has been so generous about gifting, giving or loaning toys. What do people do without them? :)

Our Wednesday.

This has been a very busy week full of visiting friends. (My favorite kind of week, really). We went to see my friend Jamie, and her son Mason where Macy discovered the Jump-a-Roo. It was the perfect thing for her and she was very into it. I think I took a video, but will have to upload it tomorrow.

Today we saw my friend Holly and her daughter Harper and the picture above is Macy checking out Harper's exersaucer. Macy has one of these, but not quite as flashy. She thought she was pretty hot stuff playing in this thing!

Macy's at a tricky age for toys... She is kinda done on the lay and play, or only likes it for 15 minutes or so and then wants to be UP, but she's too little for most of the jump around toys. I'm still looking for the exact thing Jamie had for Mason (which she BORROWED) but don't really want to buy one. I borrowed two more things today from a great friend, but have my eye out for the tropical, three stand, Jump-a-Roo. I think Macy is seriously spoiled. Officially!
After seeing Holly and Harper, we headed to Auntie Kate to show off Macy's outfit and for a DELICIOUS lunch with Kates and my Dad. Pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, green salad and chocolate cupcakes. YUM! Then, Katie watched Macy while I went and got a massage. What a great day!

Two little peas in a pod. :)

Question

Anyone know of a good Jump-a-Roo for cheap or to borrow? Macy sat in a borrowed one at her friend Mason's house and it was just where she is at. I don't want to spend $70 on a new one...

Macy and her Mimi

This was actually taken at a very sad funeral the other day, but Macy brought a couple smiles. She is wearing a dress that I LOVE from Karin Mhyre... It makes me think she looks like Karin's beautiful girls, Kylie and Taryn. :)
Macy loves her Mimi!!!!
