Date Night

So last night Gabe and I went out, just the two of us, for the first time since Macy was born. The date was kind of a flop, but still a nice break for me to miss a feed and have an excuse to put some normal clothes on! It's so good to feel good, and OUT!
Here we are at Kyotos!
Our chef... Ok, this place is known for delicious food, and it's pricey since you're supposed to get a great show. Our guy couldn't catch the egg, dropped a bowl on the floor...
and couldn't get the "volcano" to erupt with any fire!... It was sort of a dud show. I'd forgotten how expensive that place is, too, and it turns out neither Gabe or I feel that great about spending lots on a dinner when you don't have any leftovers!!! Next time, Anthony's Hearthfire Grill- it's fabulous every time and their rotisserie chicken never disappoints!
Steve Burton gave us tickets to see Camelot at the Mount Baker Theater- sooo nice of him :) Reminded me of Senior year at Meridian High when I was IN this musical! Ha!

Meanwhile, Macy was at Grandpa Ken and Mimi's house and showed them her loud cry when she decided dinner should be 10 minutes early!!!! She had a great time, I don't think she was ever laid down the whole night and Mom and Dad are more in love than ever. :) I appreciate you both SO MUCH! Thank you for taking such great care of our little bundle of love.

  3. What you call a "dud" I call "special!" Anyone can fork over a lot of dough and see a normal "spectacular" show, but to see a flop? Come on... it had to be a LITTLE entertaining and funny. And I have no doubt miss Macy was spoiled rotten!

  4. Sorry about dinner...Shane almost got clobbered by those heavy things they toss around at the end once...we wondered if our meal would have been free if he'd been hit...LOL Glad you had a good time at the show though!
